I’m excited to announce that my story “The Magazine” was accepted for publication in Plenitude Magazine, Canada’s online queer literary magazine. I’m thankful to the people at Moosemeat, my writing group, for the insightful feedback and criticism I got when I first presented the story to the group. Without their valuable responses I wouldn’t have been able to find a home for this story.
Just in time for Pride, my Pride-related story "Two Friends" is out now in Plenitude Magazine. Thanks to the people at Moosemeat, my writing group, for their valuable feedback when the story was first workshopped, and big thanks to Kathleen Fraser, Managing Editor at Plenitude, for accepting this story.
I just learned that my story "Two Friends" has been accepted by Plenitude Magazine, Canada's queer literary journal. It will be my second appearance in the magazine; the first time was back in 2014 when my story "Lovely Company" was first published. Thanks to the people at Moosemeat, my writing group, who first read the story and offered their comments and suggestions. The story is to come out in June, just in time for Pride.
A number of months ago, Plenitude Magazine (who had published my story "Lovely Company" back in 2014) asked me to write a short piece on a queer book or author that had a big impact on me. I decided to write about Denton Welch, and you can find that piece on their website. Check it out here.
